The benefits of injection molding
Injection molding is a fast and efficient process that has many advantages:
- Precision: Injection molding makes it possible to produce complex plastic parts with high precision, both in terms of weight and dimensions.
- Economic efficiency: Injection molding is a relatively cheap and energy-efficient way to manufacture plastic parts compared to other production methods.
- Fast production: Injection molding is a fast process that minimizes lead time on your plastic parts.
- Consistent results: Injection molding is done using an injection tool/mold that ensures you get consistent results - every time.
- Scalable production: Injection molding is a very flexible form of production that allows you to easily and quickly scale production up or down, thereby reducing costs.
Here are the benefits of our plastic parts
Why consider replacing components in your products with plastic? There are several good reasons:
- Plastic is cheaper to manufacture than many other materials.
- Danish plastic is a more environmentally friendly alternative to metal*.
- You get greater delivery reliability as all plastic parts are produced in Denmark.
- You get a certified plastic product made from traceable materials.
- Our experts are always available for sparring and product advice.

Great material flexibility
Injection molding offers great flexibility in material selection. This means you can get plastic parts in the material that best suits your product - from very simple plastics to high-tech materials that require high quality, precision and durability.
We manufacture the plastic parts ourselves, which means you get injection molded plastic parts in Danish quality plastic made from traceable materials.
What is injection molding?
In short, injection molding is a process where the selected plastic material is heated to a homogeneous mass and pressed into an injection tool/mold. The tool can be designed just the way you want it and allows you to make very precise and advanced plastic parts. In addition, the mold ensures that you get a consistent result, whether you need to produce many or few plastic parts.
The injection molding process starts with you - in collaboration with our engineers - designing the mold to give you exactly the product you need. We have more than 60 years of experience in the field and are also happy to help with product development.
Injection molding and sustainability
The process of injection molding often uses less energy and results in less waste than other forms of plastic production. This is because:
- Injection molding makes complete plastic parts
Many other forms of manufacturing make several individual parts that must then be assembled. This means that with injection molding there is often less energy consumption and waste. - Residual materials are fully recyclable
The residual materials from injection molding are often fully recyclable, which also reduces waste.
At Molytex, we want to contribute positively to the green agenda and we are doing what we can to become more sustainable.
