The beginning

The first injection molding machines

Molytex was founded in 1965 by M.Sc. Jørgen Matzau (1938-1995).

Initially, the work consisted mainly of processing plastic pipes, rods and sheets. But when the first injection molding machines became commercially available in the late 1960s, Molytex acquired a single machine and later purchased several more.

With 60 years of experience in injection molding, we are now proud specialists in plastic production - and we can help you with product development, product consulting and plastic production.

Today, production is primarily centered around injection molding and counts 35 machines that can mold parts from a few grams up to about 2.5 kg, depending on geometry, material etc. learn more about the benefits of injection molding here.

We mold in virtually all types of thermoplastics from polypropylene to ABS, nylon (PA6, PA66 etc.), PPS and PEEK. We use all kinds of additives ranging from lime and chalk, fiberglass, carbon, aramid, steel, PTFE and of course colors. This means that you can get high-tech components in Danish plastic with properties that are customized to your product.

How production works

Today, Molytex has 35 employees and production runs around the clock at our 8000 m2 factory in Glostrup just outside Copenhagen. All Molytex plastic parts are produced in Denmark - your guarantee of certified plastic parts made from traceable materials that keep their promises. Although injection molding makes up the vast majority of our production, some parts are still machined and various types of assembly are also carried out. Some parts are used in Denmark, while we also export to the EU, UK, Australia or the Far East.
